OVHD problem

Hi guys

got the decoder from space tv. activated and changed transponder info. no signal. using IS20 dish. dstv runs fine.

on OVHD i can pick up botswana channels. with good signal strength.

took it into space tv centurion.

they reactivated even though i got confirmation it was activated. then the signal was fine at their shop.

came home and tried it still no luck. i was told i may need to re-align the dish. anyone got any advice on this or should i get an installer to just do it?

Don't known the decoders that well but, it might be the lnb setting. Look for a setting where the freq. value is 10 700 or 10600 and change it to 10600 if its 10700 or vice versa. Something like that.

yeah changed those. frequency, mode and symbol rate.

gonna give it to my buddy to try on his dish. if it works then it may be a dish issue.
