What are the insurance implications if you use your own car??

Most don't allow it, or atleast wont pay you out if you roll your car at a track day. Another thing to carefuly consider is the abuse you put on your car on the track can raise your maintenance costs and lower your resale rate.

Zwartkops. The irony though is the road getting there will screw up your car more than the track will.

kyalami. They will charge you for the day, usually happens on mondays in the month. Suggestion is set your cambers and car in general for track driving, get semis for the track. And yes there is unusually high wear on a car that is tracked. Visible parts are tyres and brakes and dont be surprised if you use up a set of tyres in one of these sessions. So what im saying is keep lotsa $$$ :)

Just remeber insurance will not cover you if anything happens to the car on the track. Also car motorplans will be void if they know you tracking the car. I personally have not taken my car to the track (and i drive a track car)

Friend is hitting a 2:03 in his 09 subaru sti. Impressive.

Are there other mondays?

Doesn't it just make more sense to have a track car and a every day car?
