Oxtail recipe

Pot
Butter
Oxtail
Salt
Pepper
Leave it to cook for about 6 - 7 hours on low

Serve with pap
 
Potjie!

Fry them in the potjie. Then add water and some salt and pepper. Then let it cook on a low fire for twenty beers.
 
Pressure cooker .
Olive oil
Plenty garlic .
Onions .
Brown the oxtail with the onions and garlic bit of cayenne pepper .
haricot beans and a couple of cups of water,salt close the pressure cooker and bring it to pressure for half and hour ,switch off and leave it for 20 minutes .
Open and chow . ;)
 
Slow cooker.

Brown the oxtail first...

Into the slow cooker with garlic, chopped carrots, celery & potatoes, tomato paste, a can of chopped peeled tomatoes, Rosemary, Thyme, pinch of salt & pepper, red wine, beef stock and I add a little Worcestershire sauce too.

Leave it on low for about six hours

Add flour to thicken - I add peas too 'cos nomnomnom.

Leave for 15 minutes.

Serve with rice.
