Hi, did anyone get the December / January security patches with the Android 9 like gestures?

No, I am on MTN. Last update was the November security patch.

Update 159 has only just arrived in the Netherlands it seems. Gonna be a wait until it reaches SA.

I don't follow software versions and so on too much unless there are major updates so maybe I'm wrong here but I got this about a week or 2 ago - ANE-LX1 8.0.0.159(C432). I'm with Vodacom.

That's great. I have ANE-LX2, the dual SIM version from Telkom so the update seems to be taking longer. The major difference with this update is the gesture navigation which you would normally only find in Android 9.0.

I received ANE-LX1 8.0.0.155 (C185) on Tuesday. MTN.

Gestures taking some time to get used to

I just got the December update which includes the gesture navigation. My phone is from Telkom mobile. Now it shows as ANE-LX2 8.0.0.148 (C185).

Yes I have received that update I have the lx2 from telkom running 8.0.0.150 which has the gestures, go to the update app and tap the 3 dots and tap download full package
