I need help I have well lets say big problem. My Adsl seems to upload and downloading all the time so when I want to go to net or play multiplayer games my ping is 999 and tht is very bad.

I have been trying to solve this problem for 2 weeks now and I think I have this problem because of P2P downloading and I tried to change my IP and still nothing.

If anybody knows how to fix this please answer me I am going crazy

PS:I have send this over my old comp because my new one have this problem but old doesnt.

If you can be a little more specific I'd be happy to try help you, as would others but we need to have more info on what is going on.

Get Netlimiter or something similar to see what is downloading / uploading.

Ok I have been downloading with Vuze and now my ADSL is slow like hell I need like 2 min. to open google page and everything is slow I think it is because of torrent downloading and tht is P2P.

I have tried but I have heard tht even if u stop useing torrent others users will try to connect to u and tht urs ADSL is getting slower.

I have downloaded Net limiter and I will trz to limit my upload speed on new comp.

once the torrent app is closed I'm sure no one can connect to you ..... have you done a virus scan? adware scan? ... just to be safe like.

Yes I have found some viruses but when I deleted them my problem was not gone.

I hate tht ADSL on my old comp works and on new it doesnt

Oh, so you know its the torrents that are slowing down your pc.. Just close Vuse. It won't slow you down. Alternatively, you can limit your upload / download speed on Vuse.

I have stoped vuze I even deleted it now u tell me if I close it it will stop now I am really going crazy

So your problem is a virus or malware ....... best advice I can give you is do a virus scan, take note of the name of the virus/s that come up, start a new thread in the Internet Security section, put all the virus info you have in that thread and wait for someone to get around to giving you a solution. And someone will help you, just be patient :D

Ok I will do tht I have thanks oh I found 2x viruses downloaders but removed them thanks again guys.I will create new thread as u said.

Ah... the joys of running windows.... The last time I had a virus was in 1996. It was a boot sector virus and I used F-Prot to get rid of it. It installed itself on floppy disc drives!!

just to add to this:: Physical Layer: Wave RITA unit towards malfunctioning components.

will only work if the RFC is reversed indicating IP values to the decimal point, ie. 127.0.0.1 representing the host/or local IP
always make local port "80" as they dont cipher the packet headers on this port range(as well as 443,8080/25)
most users will not understand whats been stated but for those few who do>>>>remember that SSL helps in accepting the corresponding handshake,,be careful as headers are wrapped binary code with all the details of the pkt therein.

et voila>>>>>no more shaping :)
damn,,,that was easy, wasn't it,,,lol ;-
