The latest in a series of attacks on the p2p networking underground has seen www.torrentspy.com (amongst others) come under fire. There are requests from the music/movie industry to log user details and visitation details including IP addresses.

They don't get it. The also don't get that just because you download something, it doesn't mean you would have bought it if you couldn't...

Well if they stop torrents/p2p at least people here will stop moaning about their small caps ;)

When I use torrents it's always like 4KB/s. Could it be something to do with my ports? Is there a program I need?

I get 40KB/s on HTTP/FTP with my 384k Telkom. But P2P/torrents! :(

You need to forward your ports. Takes like 60 seconds to do..
