P30 lite sound

Is it just me or is the sound on this phone very average when listening to music and YouTube videos.. I'd go as far to say that my p8 lite sounded better.. Or maybe I'm just going deaf.. And yes I have turned the volume to the max.. Am I missing something?will getting better earphones help.. I'm using the ones supplied

Isn't there a safety thing somewhere in settings that allows you to go to higher volumes.

Nothing wrong with the earphone sound on the P30 Lite. Using the Samsung AKG earphones and the Samsung S10 wireless Galaxy buds. Testing same youtube video on both they produce the exact same volume. I am even able to customize the galaxy buds and see battery percentage on my huawei by installing the Galaxy wearable app.

I have not tried the included earphones from the Huawei P30 Lite but they looked pretty basic to me anyways. I would suggest you invest in some decent earphones if you use them a lot.

Just tested them and I could not listen to the song for more than 20 seconds. They are HORRIBLE. Low volume and no bass at all. The difference wow okay yeah no you need to get others. They are uncomfortable, soft and has no bass at all.

Maybe see if you can get Samsung S8 AKG or even LG G4 red earphones for cheap. They are really good. You can even look at maybe beats in ear earphones.

Not really if you include the ~R600 shipping charge! You also need to be very careful that they are not fakes as there are many replicas currently available on Aliexpress, eBay etc.

Have you turned on Huawei Histen effects rather than using the standard Equaliser in the Settings? My P20 Lite is really loud but only with Histen Effects turned on.
