Can anyone tell me what exactly what is "Branded" on the Vodafone one's? Menus etc... and is the generic better?

Do MTN povide generic one's? Do they work with SEUS?

They hav completely changed the menu and interface. They have removed sum vital options as well. The generic software is much better and updates are available online much quicker. Go with mtn. U wont regret it.

Hey - I started a similar thread - several people including myself have pointed out a variety of disadvantages with the Vodafone-branded P990i, I totally agree with the previous post here - go with MTN - the only problem is waiting time!

Thanks allot for all your help guys... I have decided to go with MTN and get the non branded version.
I tried to call the Vodacare group in connection about getting the generic version, but they were unable to assist me. So...
By the way, phoned MTN today... And they have stock available on Friday at the Morningside Mall in Jhb.
