Hi there

I have a Hymax PABX system - about 4 years old. For various reasons I'm pretty gatvol for them Hymax). My question is, how difficult is it to cancel the contract and install my own sim cards? I assume some sort of re-programming will be necessary.

Anyone know of a freelance techie that can maybe assist me?

Thanks!

I'm not quite sure what your looking to achieve. Sim cards are associated with mobile services such as LCR or Premi-cells where Hymax is the actual PABX itself. In terms of contracts, whether it be a PABX or Mobile vendor those are pretty water tight and always carry a settlement value.

What are you looking to achieve exactly?

Paid for the equipment cash so that's not an issue. But the Vodacom contracts were done through Hymax. I want to cancel them, and sign new contracts with MTN and Vodacom directly. I'll just need somebody to program the PABX I guess.

i did the same thing.

Had contracts through some company that VOX took over....told them to fly kite, brought the company 6 Premi-cells cash, and got our own vodacom contracts. No programming needed as all i was doing was replacing the premi-cell contracts and hardware.

if you dont have a contract with Hymax, tell them to remove the sims and replace with your own. will work.
