The VOIP based PABX type software gives the following error:

A "symmetric" NAT or router has been detected between this computer and the internet. This means audio cannot be routed to this computer automatically. You are advised to manually setup RTP/UDP redirection at the router or NAT otherwise audio may be delayed.

The modem is a Telkom Premium Combo ADSL Router (wireless).
The software did work before with an older type Telkom ADSL modem.

Can this error be fixed with changes in the 10.0.0.2 panel or do we need a different modem? Advice appreciated.

Port forwarding will resolve problem

You should set up "port forwarding" or "virtual server" on your Telkom router, to forward udp ports 10000 to 20000 to the internal IP address of your PABX.
