PACKET LOSS and LATENCY

hi.

i get disconnects(War3) or freeze(CS) too often from local game servers.
could it be my line problem? (i'm suspecting the cable from modem to the pole outside.
my latency/packet trasnfers are unstable also.

is it normal for adsl users or is it just me...

plz give me some advice.. i don't know how to fix this.

In the last three days getting about
4 to 5 disconnects a day. Weeks ago this
hardly happened at all except for every
24hrs. Bloody annoying

I still have this, all my lines and equipment have been replaced, still I have 27% packet loss. And I get that with a traceroute to 165.165.128.1, which tells me it is before I even get to my ISP.

how did you get telkom to replace your lines and equipment?

did you pay for the cost?

what kind of fault must i report to get them replaced :>
