Packet Loss on Telkom

Hi, i just realised that the packet loss i have been getting for a few days is only with telkom and not anything to do with my congested exchange (tested with afrihost and no issues) , and i just spoke to somebody who is having the same problems. Anybody here also having packet loss with telkom, it seems to start in the afternoon and dissapears in the evening.

Seems there is an national outage, Telkom/SAIX say there was a problem with the Belville router that had to be restarted,

Most troubles are with international though. Some international sites load after a few retries, but facebook, twitter and netvibes completely refuse to connect at all. SAT3 troubles maybe?

I noticed our Telkom MetroLAN connections in East London and PE were down for about 20 minutes

Switched from TI to FNB Connect, no problem there whatsoever
