Performed a ping to www.telkom.co.za (I tried www.neotel.co.za but it doesnt respond to pings).

--- www.telkom.co.za ping statistics ---
1000 packets transmitted, 973 packets received, +11 duplicates, 2% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 47.819/132.160/1575.957/105.249 ms

I got a 2% packet loss over 1000 packets - which is quite high imo. I use a yagi antenna and dont usually get disconnects. Isnt this bad?

I did this test at 11:40pm or so and so the network traffic should be quite low - im curious to see what its like during the day...

My speedtest results as of 11:45pm:
Dload: 171 KB/s
Upload: 59KB/s
Ping: 157ms

As you can see my connection is quite decent - i have a neoflex router. Whats the deal here?

Nevermind - found out the packet loss is originating from the Wireless router itself and not the CDMA network.
