Page Loading Delay

Whenever I click on a link or refresh a page, there is about a 3 second delay before it actually starts loading the page. Is this normal? It's rather annoying.

Also sometimes when searching for something eg in Google, I have to press on search a couple times before it does anything. it tries to search, just doesn't load.

Which browser are you using?

Have you tried to clear the browser cache?

I am using Chrome but it seems to happen in all browsers. Clearing the cache doesn't help.
