Ok, so here is something I'm not entirely understanding. I've got an E220 USB modem with the 7.2Mb firmware running on my desktop. On my laptop I have a bluetooth connection to my Tytn 2 running HSDPA. On the laptop surfing is all merry and downloads average just below 1Mbps (and that seems to only be because of the bluetooth speed limit). On the desktop though, it's taking ages to open anything, pages time out all the time, downloads don't go over 300kbps, and even when they start they never finish. The only difference I can see is there is a proxy server specified on the Tytn 2. I disabled this, but still the same result. I tried the USB on the laptop, and its also dog slow there. What could be the case here??

what device you having the problem with... the tytn or e220...?
what OS are you using on the desktop and laptop...?

I don't know if it's a problem as such. It's with the E220 modem.

During the day it flies, no issues, but during peak times its almost unusable, where as the Tytn 2 is fine anytime day or night.

Running XP Pro on both
