Pain for Pick n Pay

Pick n Pay is in serious financial trouble and is technically insolvent. It needs a successful rights offer and Boxer listing to fix its balance sheet.

Sad story and totally a management/staff outcome.

Their staff are rude and their shops are crapy, old/outdated and sometimes stink in fish and chicken areas.

Not a happy experience shopping at PnP anymore and I personally by far prefer Checkers.

I just dumped them, had shares that have been running kark for a while.

I never once considered them, I actually saw this coming. I have Shoprite's and they are doing well, I must say. I am actually going to increase my shareholding in Shoprite.

Pick n Pay management became cocky and believed that they were untouchable, they were far removed from their clients. This is all on them, I don't even feel sorry for them.

To be fair though I'm fairly sure I picked this up when I created my EE acc circa June '21.

Things were diff then.

But yeah downwards trajectory = kiss it goodbye.

Never would I've imagined that Pick n Pay will die and Take n Pay still going strong. o_O

I see you have the Mybroadband "kiss" syndrome.
