Hi there fellow MYBroadbanders,
This is just an attempt/request for anyone who is willing to play a couple games of Painkiller during the weekend or weekday evenings.
I recently got the game again and since its release ive always wanted to play it multiplayer but didnt have the chance.
At the moment there are no Local servers but im quite sure that a self hosted server would work fine for a couple people who want to play... At the moment there is myself and 3 others who are willing to get a couple duels or TDM's going and it would be great if we could get more.
I've always been a Quake 3 fan so if you are crazy good at the game im sure I'd at least be able to hold my own as the speed etc is kind of the same.
The way in which we would connect is either Direct IP connect or over Hamachi, depending on what everyone prefers and for duels it would probably be hosted by a 3rd party to make it fair for both duellers... What would be even better is if we could get a dedicated server hosted by one of the Service providers but I'm not holding my breath.
So, if youve got the game and are interested in playing.. We are all running patch 1.64 which will be about 450meg to get to from scratch.
Just leave a post if you're interested.
