I've been called a satanist because of a small tattoo on my forearm. And mean do what you want by saying "sticking it to the man". I grew my hair to my shoulders in college too which caused a stir. Even in my own family.

Have you done it? I did mine just for fun and to get an reaction out of people. So far I've been asked if I was gay, satanist or a goth.

Both my sister and colleague asked if I was a satanist so I replied they must be satanists as well since they also had theirs painted black once upon a time. My favourite response was from an old-ish woman in the elevator who just said that it looked nice without questioning my reason for it.


Anyway I think it's time to take them off cause they're starting to crack.

Can't say that I have or ever felt the need to.

I am partial to a bi annual pedicure and manicure just to get the ridges off my nails and make them smooth again.

I have incredibly hard and thick nails so I tend not to cut them as often as I should. This draws more attention than nail polish I figure because the macho men look at me funny and the women are normally jealous and want to know what the secret is.
