Sometimes it is the best way, however when you have trigger happy dps who don't get the hint after you let them die, an "Oi you!" is awesome

I still remember the days where hunters had to pull just about everything
Pulling used to be a hunter art, Scorpid sting pull in raids, Pet pull in MC, Pull and trap in instances...

Then they introduced Mis Direction and gave all tanks the ability to pull for them self...

I still do on my tard, mainly to make sure the tank is paying attention else i fd and the mage gets it

Yea I also still do it, but no encounter now NEED a hunter for the pull... It is nice having a hunter so the tank can stand in the tanking position already while the hunter pull the boss to him.
Another thing that is no more is Paladin bubble pulls.

Another thing that is no more is Paladin bubble pulls.

We found that md, sometimes bugs on us, our hunter pulled grobbulus the other night as he was walking up the ramp, omen was showing he was aggroed on the tank, but he still came charging for the hunter who had to fd to lose him

This seems to happen quite often when we have done it.

Also our hunter pulls a lot with the ranged icetrap
