So confused.

I've read 5+ sites on how to start/tips/guidelines. And ALL of them contradict each other.

One is like "no diary", the other is "diary, only full fat" and the other is "no milk, but cheese is okay" ??

Same thing with nuts & seeds!

I don't think anyone with a website on Paleo really knows what the **** they're talking about and that it's not even a real lifestyle. Much like vegans aren't real

you'll find that with all [insert name here] diets

I think the general rule is that dairy and cheese are OK if you can tolerate them, and in moderation.

I just look at paleo as avoiding processed food.

Yea that's what I'm doing. Basically trying to go wheat/grain/dairy free but didn't know the extensive list of ingredients in some of these things. I'm buying fresh veg/fruit now instead + eggs and chicken / beef and making everything from scratch.

Still trying to shake the wheat/grain/dairy thing so need ideas. Not a nut eater though

Ive been paleo for close to a year now, it gets easier. I do think that to some degree I was lactose and gluten intolerant. I have no more bloating, no more queeziness and generally sleep better. There is a large community that promote a healthy lifestyle and to an extent paleo does offer that. I suggest check out www.sleekgeek.co.za and try the reboot challenge, there is also some great tips to maintain a healthy

I'd rather change 1 thing at a time and develop a habit for it rather than jumping into a whole new "challenge" for 8 weeks and having a good chance to fall back into my old habits.

the reboot not the comeback kid....reboot is just for a month to see how body feels when you stop grains and dairy...
