The racist Zionist bullies obviously don't like this.
They have to join the International Criminal Court first, which they actually said they'll not necessarily be quick to do. Reason is they'd also be accountable, and would have to hand over the terrorists they harbour.
Anyhoo, the reason I think this is good is because it gives them a stronger platform to negotiate for a Palestinian state, and it also provides a platform to put pressure on Hamas. Want formal recognition as a state? Then denounce Hamas. Want foreign aid? Then denounce Hamas.

Thanks. Well garnishing funds for amounts outstanding I can understand, this news of Israel stirring with the UN purely on principal of making trouble is worrying though.

Well it's not really a state yet. Israel will have to answer for the land grabs before the they acknowledge it is a state.
