Should i be worried? I need my drivers-side mirror resprayed, paint rubbed off.
Its a plastic mirror the back obviously.
Called a panelbeater from the yellowpages and asked for a quote answer on the other end - "R100"

The colour is white and not the fancy metalic whites but the normal solid white. Will the result make me /cry?? I dont wanna pay through my nose for something this tiny but still is this dodge?

If this job is done well, then it's a bargain. This job is not so small as you may think. It takes quite some preparation and time. White paint is not just white paint, it must be specially mixed for the correct tint.
I would expect a quote of twice or three times as high.

Its only a mirror...and its only R100.... so if he stuff it up... take it somewhere else... if he doesn't...you score.

R100 can feed a child in the township for a month :(

... so don't fix it then?
:D That thought just popped into my head for some reason.. here i am ungreatful for spending so little that i find it dodgy but to someone else that R100 would have been mega moola

a 100 rand can also buy you just mooi 10 litres of petrol, haha :D aaah i wish the good old times could come back, when R 3.5 for a litre got expensive

Sounds about right I get panels sprayed for about R500 if I do the prep. Seeing as all that needs doing is a sand, prime, spray, wetsand and clear.
