Hi guys, Is the panic button option a good idea in commercial vehicle tracking option. I've been convinced not so? For a lady driver I think it may be a good option. Your views please.

Hey dude.
Firstly, a few questions -

Which company are you using?
Do you pay extra for the panic button?
Will you have someone monitoring the vehicles 24/7?

If you answer no, and yes for the second and third question, then go for it...
Depending on the answer of the first question, you can decided if it is worthwhile.

I have one in my car and I believe it's a good option. If you have the opportunity to press it press it, if you don't don't. It won't do any harm otherwise. Mixtelematics has options with panic buttons.

Cartrack, Yes, Yes.

Not sure how good they are; running lots of ads on tv

Then I would suggest getting it and see how it works. if you are happy, continue with it, if not, then de activate the fee for it rendering the button useless..
