Hi guys
I replaced the battery. System came on. This morning the system is dead. Fuse blown. Replaced fuse. New full battery. System wont turn on? Advice please?

1 - Check you can measure (about) 18 volts AC at the AC in terminals
2 - A Paradox panel won't wake up if AC is not present
3 - Replace the fuse and see if it will wake up just with AC
4 - Measure the battery with no load. You should see about 13 volts
5 - The most frequent cause of the battery fuse blowing is reverse polarity

Thank you so much. System woke up. Need new power supply.

@chrisc please can you help. I need to connect a external battery to my AUX to power the beams and lower the load of the entire system on the 8ah battery in the box. there is a bunch of wires coming out of the + and - of the AUX terminal I asume this is for the 4 external beams I have. I want to use the sherlo 6.4amp to help power the beams.
can I just ad + and - to the same terminal or does it have to be down the line as per the Paradox diagram.

Everything that needs power (keypad, PIR) is connected at the AUX terminal not just the beams. You can connect all the wires together yes.

Are the lithium alarm batteries a drop in replacement to the normal ones?

I was advised by the security company that it is not
