Well, I don't understand why they fragmented the shyte out of the streaming market to start with. Maybe they figured they could make more money that way, and well it is not working too well, so they will consolidate it again.

If they do so intelligently, they can make more money, but I don't see them doing that - because some greedy idiot is going to try score a few percent "extra" and flip the whole apple cart, just peoples being peoples.

Now is the best opportunity for the entertainment price fixing scam of the century.

Warner Bros Discovery and Paramount Global are likely to be "worse off" together as a merger will leave them billions deeper in debt and saddled with dying traditional television assets, Wall Street analysts said on Thursday.

The shares of both Paramount and WBD dropped when the story broke. However, Paramount shares rose in response to the suggestion that they and Apple might bundle together their streaming services.

Also, WBD being bought by Comcast (NBC Universal) might make better business sense
