Hi all, can anyone help or give suggestions, Ill mention the hardware though it's probably not crucial.
Scenario: I would like to switch off internet access during sleeping hours for children's devices. I have a Xiaomi AC2350 router, and a Xiaomi range extender pro. All the children's devices are connected to the extender as their rooms have poor WiFi coverage. All other devices are connected to the main router. Scheduling access only seems to work with devices connected to the router but not the range extender, I am testing if I enable a scheduled access on the extender if that will switch off internet access for all devices connected to it(also acceptable). If this fails or is unreliable, does anyone have any other suggestions or help. Will a powerline adapter be a more reliable way of controlling access? Any help.

If they are android devices, make use of Google Family link..

Create Google accounts for the kids, or add existing ones.. this will allow you to control screen time of the device along with a hot of other things, like which apps they can have, age control of apps they can install.. scheduled time for specific apps etc..

I am using that although there is one windows laptop, and one iPad of the eldest daughter.
