Yeah, she was possibly too nervous, there was immense pressure on her to claim this gold medal, or at least seriously challenge the more favourite world record holder in great shape Sydney McL. The American ladies with gold and bronze ran the races of their lives, set PRs, and a new world record. Bol ran for her standards a very mediocre race, that's was the difference. Bol tried the first 250m, 300m, then kind of conceded, made an amateur like mistake before the last hurdle, forcing her to make an extra step.
For her and her supporters this bronze felt like a real defeat.

I predicted at the start of the games that Letsile Tebogo had a real chance for a medal on the 200m.

I wondered the other day if the hype about Olympics are not fading. Seems not many people really care about it anymore. Nowhere I go people talk about it.
Maybe because they started going woke the last decade with these trans athletes etc.

Noah didn't trash talk anyone that im aware of.

But he is an arrogant cnt. Did you see his antics when they came out of the tunnel?

He acts like a spoilt brat who owns the world. And he got his a$$ handed to him by a very humble person.

Noah carried on like an energizer bunny before the race but when he lost he suddenly had covid overcome him and needed a wheel chair.

Samsung gifted a Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition to all the athletes at Paris 2024, and the company now revealed one of the most used features by participants and fans.

The new foldable is "creating and fostering meaningful communication" among athletes with the Interpreter feature, Samsung announced today. The feature allows two people to talk in real-time in their own languages, and the phone will automatically translate and even visualize the words on its two screens.

Team Samsung Galaxy members Wilma Anna Helena Murto from Finland (Athletics) and Alessandro Mazzara from Italy (Skateboarding) said the feature makes a difference, especially for people who often travel to different parts of the world.

Samsung also set up a demo shop at Champ-Elysees 125 and Square Marigny, where everyone was able to experience the new foldables in hand. Visitors called the Interpreter feature "convenient" and "helpful", while a Samsung representative pointed out that the whole process is on-device with no need for an online connection.

Globally they have been popular and the hype is definitely not fading. Major broadcasters (NBC/Peacock, Discovery+/Max etc )are reporting that these Olympics have higher ratings & viewer numbers than previous Olympics.
Sometimes it's just the jaded relationship that South African viewers have with DSTV, rather than the Olympics.

I enjoyed the sports, the Olympics app, and the picture quality and convenient setup on Discovery+ where you could watch live / replay every event individually.
