Paris 2024 Olympics

Blame the twats who bought the US commentary feed
Pretty sure we don't have the US commentary feed. There are a couple of Americans sure but most commentators are British or Australian with a couple of South Africans too like Gerald de Kock and Dale Hayes.

Edit: sorry on dstv at least lol. Don't know where you guys are watching on.

We seem to getting US commentary for Track and Field (and that’s where all the tjanking about being ignored is coming from)

I think we're just getting the world feed commentators that everyone hears in English-speaking countries. In track and field I think there are 4 commentators, 2 American and 2 British.

In America they have their own American NBC commentators that we do not hear.

Arrogant and ignorant Yank commentators, the only other country they mention is Canada as it's a neighbour and Jamaica because of the holidaying/Bob Marley :p

Eurosport?
No the world gets the world feed commentary provided by the IOC (I think?) but every official broadcaster in every country can choose to have their own commentators instead which is why NBC, BBC, Eurosport etc etc have their own team of commentators which is different from the world feed. Like in swimming: the Eurosport commentators were Lizzie something and that guy who was fired but the world feed commentators we hear on dstv were Aussie Nicole Livingstone and American Craig Hummer.

The commentary on SA tv is the world feed with commentators from US, UK, Aus, NZ and SA. I've only heard like 3 or 4 American commentators in all the sports I've watch.

jirre....

oke looks like he's having a fit...

The guys I was at school with in the 80s would have smoked these okes without even half trying.
Those are women lol. The men's competition starts today 4pm.

Today is Hamish Lovemore's SF in the men's kayak singles 1000m sprint. Unfortunately though some of the other guys in the SFs are just too fast. But we'll see...

Anytime from 11am today, ch206 on dstv.

That explains it because I see you guys complaining about bias towards the Americans but Eurosport (English) is more biased to Great Britain.

Like when their women quartet won the rowing. They were literally screaming like fans and couldn't shut up about. Even as the men's team was receiving their silver (?) they were talking about the women won.

Was a bit much.
