Paris 2024 Olympics

Today is Hamish Lovemore's SF in the men's kayak singles 1000m sprint. Unfortunately though some of the other guys in the SFs are just too fast. But we'll see...

Anytime from 11am today, ch206 on dstv.

Couple of opportunities today however remote…

jirre....

oke looks like he's having a fit...

The guys I was at school with in the 80s would have smoked these okes without even half trying.

Look at the skateboarding. Tony Hawk, Bam... somehow it feels like that generation would've ripped these guys a new one.

Is this the headband the Kenyans are using?

By using the power of evaporation, water or sweat is absorbed into the porous graphite material. That creates a 500% increase in surface area for evaporation. This amplified evaporation process pulls heat from the inside of the cooling pieces, which are in direct contact with the skin, resulting in a much more significant cooling effect.

Lolwut. You’re just being nostalgic. These tweens will ride circles around Bam & co. They’re here doing 900s like it’s nothing.

Maybe. Maybe skateboarding was more impressive when I was a teenager.

So the Eurosport commentator said he reckons another 25 minutes of running left. We shall see...

Well it'll be a computer telling him but whatever.

24 minutes

Look I dunno a lot about marathons but apparently this is a brutal one with those hills and this guy breaks the Olympic record, beats no 2 but 21 seconds.

Great race!

He's apparently dead last in the marathon or he has quit.

Held his hip at some point right? Probably DNF - nothingness prove and only injury to gain. But you never know with these guys...

I think they mentioned he was reduced to walking pace at some point.
