Paris 2024 Olympics

Saturation/highlights on these cameras are ridiculous. Some colourblind person must be calibrating them.

Hamish Lovemore about to race. He has to finish in the top 4 to qualify for final :/

So I watched the Aussie's breakdancing routine.... pffffftttthHHHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

My wife is like "is she here for comic relief?" BWHAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Are you allowed to step into a lane beside you on the 4x100m? Sure I saw the Canadian step into the inside lane at the second change.

From what I remember the short answer is no, but it comes down to whether you were obstructing that runner in any way, or gained a serious advantage (ie. cutting a big corner).

Couple of opportunities today however remote…

I just saw now that we appealed for the mens 4x400 and got back in (YAY!!!):

Haha Hamish just won the B final in the k1 sprint. Not for medals but it's still a win I guess. Best of all the losers :p

I wonder if he could have been a medal contender if he was in the outside lane. In the SF he was in the inside lane:

In the B final he was in the outside lane and he won:

And he actually had the 4th fastest time overall in the 2 finals lol:

Anyway, that's just me being bored on a Saturday afternoon but was just wondering if he paddles faster in outside lanes :)
