From a legal point of view what is the difference between the two? Ive always considered parking to be when you get out and leave your car and stopping to be, well stopping and stating in the car.
I got a fine for 'parking in a no parking zone' at DBN airport however I did not leave the car and was stopped for a few mins. The long story is I had an altercation with a rude and stupid Metro Ticket Cop type idiot. He never issued me with a fine at the time but must have written it up after I left to spite me.
