Parkinson's and EE

Yep. Parkinson's stage 1. G20 and G25.0. Started taking Pexola 3 times a day since yesterday. Although the drugs make me want to vomit, the shakes have started to subside a bit. I'm just hoping I can get used to the medicine. It really has some scary side effects on the package insert! Notably compulsive gambling and pr0n addiction!?! Oh and falling asleep while eating or driving which seems slightly less disturbing than the pr0n issues!

Who is not addicted to porn :)I hope that things work out for you hey.

I read an interview with Michael j fox who is still married with kids and has parkinsons. Very hectic. At least it's not huntingtons or ms if that's any solace. Let us know how it goes. Are you single?

+1,

I'm actually reading his autobiography, called Always looked up, it is very inspiring.

I used to know one of the old policy brigadiers in the old SAPD's interrogation unit that ended up with parkinsins, at times the old man was walking up and down the neighbourhood losing his mind completely and yelling interrogative questions out by random on other occasions he was as normal as you and me. I can only imagine how painfull the shaking might be.

If you have a stressful job or a very alcoholic lifestyle then you might be more prone to parkinsons, other people are just bloody unlucky :(.

Sterke met die sieke anubis, mens kan daarmee leef :)

Next step is deciding if I want to or should disclose to my boss/company etc. Its damned if you do, damned if you don't type of decision time.

I'm really sorry to hear about your diagnosis, Lord Anubis. Hopefully the medication will help a lot. Living with a terminal illness isn't easy but if you stay positive, you'll get through this.

I'm not really sure what to say about the disclosure. Like you said, it could go either way but I like to think that people are generally good and you'll be taken care of at work.

All the best for the future! Please keep us updated.

Tell your boss and hopefully he will have mercy.Though may I ask if it is affecting your work?
