I have a Parrot Bluetooth car kit which is like the one in the pic - uploadfromtaptalk1429685945316.gif

It came installed in my car when I bought it second hand. Which was nice. A few months back, the screen went off and it hasn't come back since.

Is there a way to hard reset the thing is get it to come back to life? I've heard there is a way but don't know what it is.

I've tried pressing different combinations of the buttons and knob. I don't want to have to take in to some workshop if there's an easy fix...

Found this on the net, not sure if it works or not:

"Hard reset the CK 3100 by pressing all three buttons for two seconds and then pressing them a second time (warning initializes factory settings)
2. hard reset thisback to factory settings"

Straight copy paste out of fixya website :)

Hmm, I might not have tried that combination yet! Let me see if that works...

Those models are well known for the kuk screens.

Mine is messed up too, not dead though. Can't read a thing on it.
Unit is still working though.

Make and receive calls no problem.

When you press the buttons do you get feedback via the speakers? If so unit might still be operational.

Ok, firstly can you connect to it with your phone? Does it make any beeping noises when you turn the key on?

Tried that. Still dead. Nothing happening on the screen at all...

Ahh sorry dude. That's all the internet has offered up to me to hard reset the device. Hope you come right!
