I'm a (soon to be) student living with my parents at the mo', and although they're of the opinion it's unnecessary pressure to get a job while studying full-time, I wouldn't mind getting a part-time job just for the sake of raising some of my own cash.

In the past I've worked a few days every holiday doing data capturing at my dad's company, and was wondering if anyone knows of any kind of part-time work like that? My best sell at the moment is my typing speed (average around 110 words a minute), so hoping someone may know of something that can take advantage of that? I'm an 18 year old guy based in the lower region of northern Johannesburg (Greenside area), and transport isn't an issue.

Next best bet is a call centre agent ?

If you have the opportunity to study full time. Go for it and give it your 100% to get good results. You will make the cash when you qualify.

I can type 150 words per minute (that's my average)

Unfortunately I can't say much for my spelling...

Try lawyers and the court. They sometimes needs typist to type cases and stuff from audio to documents.

digitaladdiction.co.za is looking for part time data capturers. Give it a try? Work from home....

Transcripting. Very irritating, my friend was doing it for our forensic department the other week.....

Well as Cyberarmy mentioned, I need data capturers to fill in the descriptions and stuff for my website. I must warn you though, it can be tedious and repetative, but if you're patient then its ok. If interested, email me at jobs (at) digitaladdiction (dot) co (dot) za with a skype/msn, Full Name, Required Username / Password. You will then get a trial run next week as well as all the info.
