Partition my external have win xp

have no partition software how can i do this

Go to your administrator tools section in control panel, storage. When you plug in the HDD it will pick it up and ask you to if you want to partition it.

Click Start, Click "Run", type in: compmgmt.msc and click OK

In computer management, look for "Storage" on the left-hand side, then in storage, find "Disk Management".

Open Disk Management and in there, look for the drive you wish to partition --> Right-click on it and click Format. You can now change the size, once you have formatted, look for the free space and right click on it and format that too.
