Patch 1.5 + booster packs will be FREE

Not at all it is free because nobody plays the other maps because not everyone has them.

Cannot wait.

People will buy bf 3 regardless and in fact they never even needed to make this patch, 4-5 years later they make a patch for what?

1.5 seems to be looking awesome. If they fixed all the said they fixed it will help the game a great deal. Yet I do recall EA bringing out a patch for 2142 and creating Titan lag to the point where the game became unplayable but I guess we will just have to wait and see.
 
Titan lag was there from the get go, that coupled with the disconnects every round is the reason i wanted to burn the dvd :D

I did not burn it but i did uninstall and never go back.
 
nah titan lag was ok for me from the beginning to like patch 1.4 and with the release of 1.5 it got so bad that even with the titans locked in place you couldn't play those servers. A pity since titan mode was awesome.
 
im sure this will kick start things, going to be nice to run around in some unfamiliar surroundings, and the left click prone guys are going to feel it (just when i sorta mastered it :))
 
true it will kick some life in since there are 8 new maps that every one can play. I guess we have to say WP EA good move to keep an awesome game alive for a little longer.

What's happening with the infantry server? I see everyone is in the vehicle server! Is it because of the new patch? I am getting it now then!
 
Saix did make a comment somewhere on that all their severs should be patched by later today..

The ranked 1 server was already patched yesterday.

Hit boxes seem alot more accurate to the model - which is much better than having to fire somewhere past the model to hit it. :D

Awwesome!!! I remember reading a post yesterday about they should be done by today sometime. If it's already done yesterday, then that great news!!!

Finally manged to get BF2 working again, so I'll maybe log in tonight for a round or two... :D *Free kills here* :D
