How difficult is it to get a patch antenna going? Nowire can't find anyone who's prepare to come and set one up for me. Any tips or tricks? I've tried the omnidirectional antennae, with no luck (I got a worse signal), and the cantenna doesn't work eiter. We typically have a 1-2% signal, from the looks of it.

The patch antenna as in the little grey plastic jobby? I just connected it up to the modem and held it up to a window. Had mysignal running (the option where it tests the signal continuously) and then twiddled the antenna until I got the highest signal percentage.

When I moved myWireloss to the business site, I didn't even worry about using mySignal - just connected it up and waited for the lights to stabilise. Tried getting two / three lights on the modem. The only thing I noticed is that the modem takes about ten to fifteen seconds hunting for a signal before it stabilises and gives you a reading.
