Patch Problems ?

For some weird reason my BF just reset itself to the original patch/version, and now when i try install 1.41 it does nothing when i run, doesnt even try load or anything?
Any ideas?

it just RESET itself back to a different version??? What the hell...

Uninstall.. Reinstall and try the patch again

done that, still cant get the patch too run.
Running out of ideas here.

See if there is any files left of bf2 maybe that is what is happening. Sometimes uninstall leaves files behind and u have to manual delete them.Had the problem with gangster back then and could not play or patch the game and it turned out to be a file that was left behind after uninstall.
