kn0b Q: When updating a game, do you have to apply all patches, or is just the latest one OK? Will the latest patch include all previous bug fixes etc?

The reason I ask, is that on the Clear Sky patch page, there is the latest patch, @ 58 megs. The previous two were both 56megs. :(

Would the extra 2MB be the changes to the previous patch, with the whole package coming in at 58MB? :o

Makes sense, but just need to double check, as I will cry if I lose all my saved games...

It depends on the game. Some like StarCraft, you only need the latest patch, while others like Neverwinter Nights you need several patches.

Best suggestion from me is to check the website for the patch notes. They usually say in the notes whether you need the other patches. Might also try downloading the new patch and running it, since newer games will refuse to update if the game version isn't correct.

"1.5.04-1.5.07 save games will be compatible".

Assuming this means that if I have a 1.5.05 (which I do) patch, my game will still work after installing this patch.

Will just go for the latest and hope it works...
