Patching from 2.4.3 to 3.0.2

Hi guys, I want to patch my WoW from 2.4.3 to 3.0.2/

Is there a way i can download it locally?

There are 2 patches the first one is 2.4.3 to 3.0.1 and the second is 3.0.1 to 3.0.2

Just downloaded them both from: ftp://ftp.agasa.co.za/patches/wow/ but what do I do with them? The first is just 1 file, 'installer tome 2' but it won't auto patch. What do I do with it??? Thx.

You have to extract the first file to your wow directory and then run the patching exe in the wow directory and when thats done you can just double click on the second one.

Yeah, I tried. I put the file 'installer tome 2' into the appropriate folder under updates with some other files, but 'updater.exe' has no known file extension. Pic linked shows what I have.

in your wow folder you must have updates folder. in the updates folder you must have the patches

C:\Games\World of Warcraft\Updates

and

C:\Games\World of Warcraft\Updates\WoW-2.4.3-to-3.0.1-TBC-EU-Update
--Updater.exe
--Installer Tome 2.mpq
--Installer Tome 3.mpq
--Installer Tome.mpq

C:\Games\World of Warcraft\Updates\WoW-3.0.1-to-3.0.2-Update
--Updater.exe
--wow-final.MPQ
--wow-partial-1.MPQ
--wow-partial-2.MPQ


Those are all the files you need. Most local download sites I found missed one or other of these. Else make sure you have this structure with the files that you do have inside, and run the downloader, it should pick up what you are missing and download it. I had to get about another ~50mb or so

In the first folder I have all those, but they are all 0kb in size, except the installe tome 2 which is a gig. And none of them are able to open correctly. They all just open wow and do nothing.

In the second I have both 'partial' files and the actual 500mb installer for 3.0.2.

I have absolutely no idea how to patch the 2.4-3.0 at all. HELP~!!

Hey did u just a question did you apply the patches?

If the answer is no then go to where the first patch is and run the update.exe
and then after it patches wow then run the second patch.

You cannot play wow without the patches because your version of wow has to be the same as the version on the server.

The patches add new content and bug fixes etc. to the game
