Never in my life have I experienced such incredibly poor service from any one company. In September 08 I sent an email requesting that they terminate my month to month contract. I then quickly recieve a phone call suggesting that I go onto there free 10Mb a month solution. Figured it would be nice to have when my dsl goes down. About a week later I faxed through the relevant forms to complete the change over (after 2 emails trying to get them).
I assume my account has changed over. The following month I recieve a bill, for a 1gb account. I assumed I missed the cut off date since i sent it on the night of the last day to change over without being billed. However I still query why I have not been changed over.
To cut a long story short I sent three emails and phoned them once to no avail. I eventually just decide to fax through the forms again. This time for a straight cancellation (My bill is now R597. I had had to stop 2 debit orders, 1 for 199 and the other for 597 that I didn't even authorise them to make.) You would think that if a month to month contract is not paid they would just suspend the account. The only reason I think they reponded to my cancellation is they realised they couldn't get any more money out of me.
Okay so 4 months down the line I get an sms informing me I'm going to get black listed. I phone the number given. 1st time they just put the phone down on me. 2nd time I get transferred around departments until I got tranferred to technnical support at which point I just put the phone down.
I still have all my emails I sent and recieved from them. Unfortunately I didn't keep a copy of the original fax as I never thought any company could be so completely incompetent or dishonest I don't know which.
Any ideas what I should do?. I really don't want to be black listed for this. Oh this account was with iburst not one of those ppl who just sell iburst accounts.
