I don't think they'll beat United. For some odd reason Inter always struggle in Europe. We didn't have any problems knocking them out last year, and at that time they were unbeatable in Serie-A. Maybe Jose can work his magic though.

Yeah it did but as Pierluigi Collina(Referee designator in italy, the famous bald headed ref) explained and he did this before the season started as well. When it hits the ball involuntary ie after being headed by the player like in this case it isn't a handball.

Even if we take that goal away Inter had 4 other great chances to score and should have won by a bigger margin.

We were ahead in the league but weren't in our best form. Added to that we were without our best central defenders. Also I doubt we will get players sent off in both games like last again. LFC had also picked up their form , had the sides met in december when the draw was made Inter would probably have gone through since lfc were in terrible form in the epl and had lots of injury problems but by the time march came along the situation were virtually reversed.

I guess those are very valid points. What's your prediction for the last 16 matches against United? United are on fire at the moment.

No predictions as far as score or how but Inter will go through. United are on fire but all good things come to and end. Inter have been pretty as well and zlatan-adri are in excellent form.

I have a good feeling for this tie.
 
Just checked supersport.

Seems like they are not showing the Lyon vs Barca CL tie.

Now that is truely pathetic!!! :mad:
 
Lyon vs Barca will be shown delayed tomorrow at 14:00 on espn.

I am delighted espn is showing the inter game. Can't stand the english commentators and ss in studio guests when they are doing an inter game especially against an epl.
 
Don't they have that Italian dude (forgot his name) that is an Inter supporter? Don't really watch them during breaks/afterward but I do remember some dude like that... no?

Stefano used to do the ingame stuff during Italian games but they very rarely use him anymore.
 
Pathetic they are playing it at 14:00 tomorrow. Especially that they are repeating the Roma vs Arsenal/Porto vs Atletico/Inter vs United game before 2pm tomorrow.

I hate Etv commentators. ESPN is best in my opinion.

Strangely enough Supersport presenters are always going on about the EPL being the best league. Last night on Monday night football, none of them seemed confident in the English teams.

Well it's not really E-TV's commentators. Think they are iTV/Sky commentators, and most of them seem to know what they are talking about.


I don't think they have broadcasting rights to all the games, sometimes they don't even show the Premier League teams' CL games, while E-TV and ESPN does.

ESPN deportes has all 4 games tonight right after each other. They start with lyon vs barca. Too bad we get espn atlantic, deportes has better football coverage.
 
I take back everything i said about etv. That pepe guy just irritated the hell out of me! Watching on ESPN now :)
 
Oh my word... that dude on ETV was unbearable... "Here we go at the San Siro"... I was practically screaming "It's the Guiseppe Meazza you F*CKING moron"...

Not to mention that he got all the scores wrong. Hehehe... atleast that Portuguese dude was funny.
