Guys I need some help please. I have a HP Pavillion DV9000 laptop and have an issue where it keeps losing time and date and have replaced the battery (CMOS) but still happening. I sent it in and the agents - AXIZ or full of *****.
Can anyone recommend someone to repair it? Please I a m desperate.
I think it may be some issue with the m/b also when I try to flash the bios, it just shuts down and says windows did not shut down correctly

Thanks guys.

Contact Tarsus in Midrand. They are the official distributors and repair centre for HP.

Hi guys and thanks very much for the replies. I cannot send to an agent as they want to charge an arm and 5 legs. You know how they operate.
W1z4rd, it is losing time and date, I tried to link it to update auto on the net and it will not do it. Also when I tried to flash it with the new Bios, it just shuts down. I wonder if the bios is screwed??

It will not be repaired under warrant as i bought it overseas and the battery was replaced by the agents for R550. Been fighting with HP over the warranty but they suck.

Axiz are the distributors for the Pavillion range.

Not to my knowledge. Both in my experience and that of a friend with a Pavilion 9000, we had contact with the grubby and completely utterlessly useless HP rep from Tarsus. I was told by Incredible Corruption that Tarsus handles all HP business.
