I got my builder to install flagstine pavers around my pool, patio and extend into the garden & I’ve installed 3 drains to ensure no future water problems. They were just about ready to start grouting when I noticed that the pavers were higher than the door meaning I would never be able to open the door! So I called in the paving company who supplied the flagstones and they informed me that the installation was done completely wrong & that all paving HAS to be laid on a screed with a slush NOT on the raw earth with a plastic sheet and river sand to make the ground level.
I’m so confused!! What is the best way to lay 40” pavers? And how do I get my builder to redo the paving so I don’t have problems in the future? (I’ve already paid him!!)
