Paying 60 Pounds for McAfee full Protection?

Everyday when I switch on my laptop, I am greeted by McAfee warning me the treats found.

They offer me (and everyone else) a discount all year long.

Should I pay 50 pounds (1000 bokkie bucks) for their security:

No, John Mcafee is long gone and Mcafee AV resembles its namesake. I'd actually uninstall that, if you can.

Windows Defender by itself is pretty good.

Use windows built in A/V and do the occasional full scan with malwarebytes. Stop putting random flashdrives into your pc / stop clicking on the .exe that comes with the movie torrent.

If you don't go to dodgy websites (i.e. vanilla porn is good enough), you should be fine with Windows Defender and good judgement.

If you're a man of niche needs, then some dodgy website use is inevitable, but there are better antivirus packages than McAfee.
