Compl33t, I also use FNB/eBucks IB, and in my experience transferring from FNB to ABSA (in particular) is a same day transfer (money in ABSA account by evening).
However, when you pay a popular recipient like Telkomonopoly, where a payee account number with the recipient must accompany the payment, the banks wait until the evening & then run a batch job (tape) that does stuff with suspense accounts and debits the payee accounts & then the bank will request ACB to credit the money as a lump sum for all payments from bank customers to Telkomonopoly on that day, next the recon with amounts to be credited to each of the Telkomonopoly telephone accounts is obtained by Telkomonopoly from the bank and Telkomonopoly would electronically extract & process that list, thereby recording payments on each of the payee's Telkomonopoly accounts.
Now ACB transfers do usually take 2 days between payee bank, ACB and then recipient bank, sometimes longer if over a weekend or public holiday. So, if it has been longer than 2 business days, the fault is probably with Telkomonopoly for not having processed the credits to individual telephone accounts...
