Hey all. I am developing a program which I will be selling online. How should I go about allowing clients to pay for the software? I don't want any highly time consuming web design as i don't really enjoy fiddling with webpages - i just want a link that says "buy product" (there will only ever be a handful of products, probably not more than 5), the client clicks on the link and is taken to a 3rd party site for payment, then when payment is made they are provided with a link for downloading my application... I don't need any shopping baskets, etc etc.

Is such a thing possible? International clients would also need to be able to buy it. I've heard of PayFast as a South African alternative to PayPal, but then would clients have to sign up for a PayFast account before they'd be able to pay? Because ideally i wouldn't want my clients to have to sign up for anything...

Thanks:)

Hi,

I've been selling software online for a few years and tried many options. The best I've used so far is a company called Plimus.com. You register as a vendor and in the product section specify details about your product and a price. Then it will generate a "buy now" link for you that you paste into your site. When visitors click on the buy link they will be directed a plimus secure site that will handle the payment for you. Normally during the 15th of the next month Plimus will wire transfer the funds to your account or if you have a linked payoneer card you can withdraw the funds directly from your payoneer bank account.

I have buy now links on my site, feel free to click on them to see what your checkout page will look like. They also have an option to cusomise the checkout pages if you want.

Other software providers worth mentioning is:
shareit.com
fastpay.com

Stay away for regnow!

All the best!
