Er.. www.paypal.com / www.paypal.co.uk (Make sure it says one of those in the address bar)

You log in with your e-mail address and your password associated with Paypal. You never, ever log in with your banking details (or online banking details).

thanks buddy i will tell her when we talk next (she at work now). there was also something about Paypal depositing money into the account but i am not sure about that.

Watch out, might be a phishing site. I get quite a few PayPal ones (as well as Absa and FNB ones). There are some signs that will point this out:

* The address bar should say: https://www.paypal.com
* Use a browser like FF or Chrome that will usually alert you if the site has been flagged as being malicious.
* If you hover over links in the email you will usually see it links to a totally different site (or a site that misspells PayPal).

Rule of thumb is NEVER to click on a link in emails - go to the website directly.
