PC Access

Howdi.

I have installed ADSL at my home now i want to access my pc from any where via the net. I have red the port forwarding and all that so i forwarded the router to my pc but how do i go ahead to access my pc via the internet?

what do you mean by access?
if you want a complete control than try VNC (google search, theres plenty instructions available for setting it up), if you want ftp access than maybe try filezilla server.. both are opensource/free and work well.
One problem you'll probably have (depending on your ISP package) is that of dynamic ip addresses, meaning you get a new ip every day.. there are software packages that can email you your current ip address daily, again google is your friend, or you can write it down before you leave home

http://www.no-ip.com(Specifically for you http://www.no-ip.com/services/managed_dns/free_dynamic_dns.html). Download and install this. This constantly monitors your IP and updates if/when it changes. EG. u register: slade2000.no-ip.org, then whenever you want to access your pc you go to http://slade2000.no-ip.org and no matter what IP you have, it will be directed to your pc.

Most routers support dynamic dns, you simply enter your details and your router updates it for you.
