Need to build a new pc, but i am a bit out of touch with the current spec's and could use some componet advice.

Need to run windows 8.1, using sotrage spaces
Plex Media server

then will be used for occasional browsing


I was thinking i5 or i3 processor but no clue on the mobo or what is any good now days ?

Anyone want to give it a bash.. I would like to keep the budget below 5 K

already have hard drives/psu/case/monitor

repalcing one of those.. need to use more hardrives
